	Anne and Christopher Wager-Bradley are pleased to welcome you to Swallowdale Cottage and hope that you will enjoy your stay with us. We are able to help with walking trip suggestions and route planning ideas for visits here on the Heritage Coast and further inland in wonderful Northumberland. This coastline is very popular with ornithologists.
We have two double bedrooms which are reached via the library gallery on the first floor. We also have a single room on the ground floor. Each room is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, alarm clock radio, hairdryer and TV with DVD and compact disc player. We have a selection of DVDs and CDs which you are welcome to borrow.
ALNHAM has a king sized bed and is en suite with a corner bath and bidet and has french doors to a small balcony with views over the surrounding countryside towards Alnwick Moor. INGRAM nestles under the eaves. It has twin beds and an en suite bathroom. HOWICK is on the ground floor. It is a single room with a double bed. It has an en suite toilet and hand basin and its own private shower room on the first floor .
We serve a full English breakfast or one of your choice in the east facing breakfast room overlooking the garden. We will always try to meet special requests.
We offer internet access to read your e-mails. There is space to safely lock and store bicycles. There is always one of us at home to let you in. Ironing facilities are available and we can dry wet outdoor clothing. The guest sitting room on the ground floor has a wood burning stove for chilly evenings. .
Ample private parking space is available. It is a short walk from Swallowdale Cottage into Lesbury village where you will find the beautiful medival church of St Mary's, the local Post Office, the new award winning bridge and the Coach Inn which has a restaurant and bar snack facilities. There are also many places to eat in Alnmouth and Alnwick. We are situated on the National Cycle Route. The Heritage Coast has many beautiful unspoilt beaches, stunning castles and very pleasant walks within easy reach. We are 3 miles east of Alnwick where you will find the magical Castle and gardens.
